What I Did

IATSE Local 514

• Founding member in September 2005.

• More than ten years as General Manager and Business Agent of Local 514.

• Implementation of the database and the accounting system.

• Implementation of the IATSE 514 website, version 1 & 2.

• Implementation of the online tool The Recruiter.

• Put in place, negotiated and signed more than 50 collective agreements between the union and employers.

• Monitored the compliance of all collective agreements for the Local.

• Implementation of a multi-employer Group Life & Health Plan (Read ; Plan Description).

• Implementation of a multi-employer Health & Safety Fund.

• Received IATSE International President Award in 2013.

• Involved in the negotiation and adoption of Quebec’s Bill 32.
  An Act to amend the Act respecting the professional status and conditions of engagement of performing, recording and film artists and other legislative provisions   (YouTube: IATSE 514 & AMPTP)  (Bill S-32.1).
